As the Admin, you can change the status of any page, at any time prior to submitting your book for publishing. If you are not the Admin of the project, you'll need to contact them for help changing the status of an Approved page in order to make it editable.
If your book has already been submitted for publishing, please contact your yearbook provider about the possibility of having it unlocked.
Why would I need to Edit an Approved page (or pages)?
We're all human. Sometimes, even after a page has been proofed once, twice, three times...there may be a correction that needs to be made. Users cannot edit pages that have already been approved, so we need to change the status of a page in order to make it editable.
Where do I change the status of an Approved page?
All page status changes happen in the Ladder .
Note: If your book has been submitted for publishing, please contact your yearbook provider about having it unlocked.
How do I change the status so we can edit our page(s) again?
Go to the Ladder. Your pages will have a status indicator of Approved (blue bars shown below). Select the pages that need changes made. The next step is to Reject (thumbs down icon) the pages.
Pictavo will confirm the selected pages have been marked as Rejected.
The status indicator will now show that these pages have been Rejected (dark yellow indicator), which means edits can be made.
Once edits are made and pages are proofed, you can, once again, mark the pages Ready For Approval or Approved.
